Flax Seeds are rich in alpa-linolenic acid (ALA), a plant based Omega-3 fatty acid that is good for heart health, lowering the risk of heart diseases and stroke. Rich in Lingans which reduce risk of cancers. Lignans are plant based nutrient compounds containing antioxidant and estrogen properties and these help lower the risk of various types of cancers (prostate, breast, colon and skin cancers).
